Introduction

SPAR Wholesale & Retail Trade is currently recruiting for a Goods Receiving Voucher (GRV) Clerk to join their dynamic team, based in the Northern Suburbs (Cape Town).

Job Overview

The Goods Receiving Voucher Clerk is responsible for managing processing tasks and handling daily administrative duties within a SUPERSPAR store.

Duties & Responsibilities

The role of the Goods Receiving Voucher Clerk involves the following duties to be fulfilled:

• Process orders efficiently.
• Capture and process invoices and GRVs (Goods Received Vouchers).
• Maintain accurate pricing and point of sale data.
• Handle claims and promotional activities.
• Oversee ordering and product transfers.
• Conduct and process stock counts.
• Load new stock items into the system.
• Scan and manage necessary documents for various departments.
• Provide general assistance, including handling phone calls.
• Organize and manage store-related documentation.
• Demonstrate flexibility through multi-skilling and general support tasks.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Matric certificate or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
• No prior experience is necessary (depending on qualifications), though experience is preferred.
• Previous experience as a GRV Clerk in a retail setting is advantageous.
