About the Feltex Shipping Learnership 2026
Feltex is now searching for candidates who would like to obtain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the Shipping field with their learnership. The Feltex Shipping Learnership offers participants the opportunity to join a structured training programme in supply chain management, with a strong focus on logistics, cargo handling, and operational processes. It provides practical, hands-on experience within a fast-paced and dynamic shipping environment, enabling learners to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.

Through this programme, candidates are expected to build essential skills and industry-relevant knowledge that will support the early stages of their professional journey. The learnership is designed to equip participants with the competencies needed to establish and grow a career in the shipping and broader supply chain sector.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

• Enter into a 12-month tripartite contract involving Feltex, MERSETA, and the learner
• Take part in a 12-month on-the-job training programme that combines theoretical classroom instruction with practical workplace experience
• Attend and successfully complete all required theoretical and practical components of the learnership
• Obtain a National Certificate: Supply Chain Practitioner (NQF Level 5) upon completion of the programme.
