About the Fancourt Job as Handyman 2026

The handyman also assists with tasks such as replacing lightbulbs, carrying out painting work, and configuring or moving furniture as required.

General Responsibilities as Handyman

• Perform routine maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel, resort, and surrounding facilities
• Inspect buildings, rooms, equipment, fixtures, and facilities to identify maintenance issues and potential problems
• Repair and maintain basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, tiling, and general building components
• Attend to maintenance requests promptly and ensure that reported issues are resolved efficiently
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment breakdowns and facility-related problems
• Assist with repairs and maintenance of doors, windows, locks, furniture, fittings, and other fixtures
• Perform painting, patching, sealing, and other minor building repairs as required
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas before, during, and after completing maintenance tasks
• Use hand tools, power tools, equipment, and maintenance materials safely and correctly
• Report major defects, safety hazards, equipment failures, and repair requirements to the relevant supervisor or maintenance manager.
