1. EPWP: Public Participation Assistant (1 Position)
Stipend: R3 388 per month
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- ND in Public Relations / Public Management / Public Administration or equivalent
- Computer literacy
- Strong communication skills (English & isiXhosa)
- Ability to liaise with communities and stakeholders
Key Performance Areas
- Assist in implementing Public Participation policies
- Liaise with District and Provincial offices
- Respond to queries and concerns from communities
- Compile monthly reports for the Public Participation Unit
- Perform administration work for the Public Participation Unit
2. EPWP: Legal Assistant (1 Position)
Stipend: R3 388 per month
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- N6 Legal Secretary course or National Diploma in Law (LLB an added advantage)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to local government
- Good interpersonal and research skills
Key Performance Areas
- Assist the Legal Officer with compliance support
- Draft and review contracts and legal opinions
- Conduct legal research and maintain filing systems
- Assist in assessment of tax invoices and bill of costs
3. EPWP: Environmental Educator (1 Position)
Stipend: R3 388 per month
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Environmental Education & Training course
- 1 year relevant experience as an Environmental Educator
- Physically fit with good interpersonal skills
Key Performance Areas
- Improve waste outlook in Umzimvubu area
- Promote waste management awareness and healthy living
- Identify illegal dumping sites and promote proper disposal
- Support “No littering” campaigns and sorting at source initiatives
4. EPWP: Ranger (1 Position)
Stipend: R2 786 per month
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10
- Physically fit
- Good communication skills
Key Performance Areas
- Patrol and identify stray livestock
- Escort livestock to the Foreman for recording
- Assist in livestock management within the community
