Role Purpose
Deliver proactive, executive-level support to the Chairman, ensuring optimal time management, seamless coordination, and professional representation of the Office of the Chairman at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anticipatory support with minimal instruction, acting independently where appropriate
- Manage complex diaries, travel, events, and executive engagements
- Serve as a trusted liaison with Board members, Exco, regulators, policymakers, and senior stakeholders
- Represent the Office of the Chairman with professionalism and confidence
- Exercise sound judgement on escalation, prioritisation, and decision-making
- Prepare, review, and manage high-level documentation and correspondence
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
- Identify and implement process, system, and policy improvements
- Stay informed on legislation, governance, and industry developments
- Contribute to organisational initiatives, transformation, and CSR programmes
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Diploma (Business-related preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience providing executive support at C-suite level (CEO, CFO, Chairman)
Preferred Qualification
- Business-related Diploma with a strong focus on emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement
