Job Purpose
To maximise the utilisation of the Market and control the activities of the Market.
This post reports to SENIOR MARKET OFFICER.
Key Responsibility Areas
Controls the operation of traders within their demarcated space and attends to public/trader queries/conflicts and takes appropriate action.
Identifies and reports maintenance and defects.
Maintains a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at the Market.
Maintains a safe and secure environment at the Market, checking that guards are properly equipped and are at their designated posts.
Undertakes cashiering functions.
