Key Responsibilities
The role of the Drivers involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:
- Safely deliver goods to designated locations.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly packed and organized.
- Prevent product damages and breakages during transit.
- Supervise and assist with the loading of goods.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
- Accurately supply the correct quantities and items as per order.
- Minimize vehicle operating costs.
- Obtain delivery note authorizations from customers.
- Collect COD payments where applicable.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Uphold and promote the company’s values and culture.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Valid driver’s license:
- Code 10 (HV) for heavy vehicles
- Code 8 (LV) for light vehicles (less than 3501 kg and up to 9000 kg)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
