Job Purpose
The main purpose of the role is to safely transport healthcare professionals to and from appointments and ensure the collection and delivery of medical samples and documents required for medical underwriting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Transporting healthcare professionals to appointments
- Collecting blood samples from drop boxes or client locations
- Delivering laboratory samples to designated facilities
- Collecting and delivering important medical documentation
- Ensuring all deliveries meet service level agreements (SLAs)
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of client information
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries and collections
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 2–3 years experience as a commercial driver
- Valid South African driver’s licence (Code 8 or Code 10)
- No traffic offences in the past 12 months
- Ability to read road signs, maps, and maintain delivery records
