What You’ll Do in This Role

As a Frontshop Assistant, you’ll be responsible for keeping the store stocked, organized, and welcoming. Here’s what your daily tasks will include:

Restocking merchandise and ensuring shelves are full and neatly arranged.
Checking that all products are within their sell-by dates and applying the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle.
Organizing stockrooms to keep them clean, safe, and easy to access.
Reporting out-of-stock, damaged, or expired items to management immediately.
Assisting with stocktaking and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory.
Flattening boxes after unpacking and taking them to designated areas for disposal.
Ensuring all prices and labels are correct and visible.
Maintaining merchandising displays according to The Local Choice standards.
Providing friendly and professional assistance to customers who need help finding products.
Following up on customer stock queries and ensuring timely feedback.
Adhering to company policies, operating standards, and safety rules.
Helping train new team members when needed.
