Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- No previous work experience is required
- A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to sporting and recreation programmes implemented within the Hub.
Responsibilities will include:
- Performing general administrative duties for the Sport and Recreation unit
- Coordinating and administering sporting activities implemented within the Hub
- Developing and maintaining databases and community audits
- Filing documents according to approved record-keeping standards
- Responding to enquiries relating to the portfolio
- Maintaining accurate records of programme and project activities
- Assisting with identifying and contacting suitable coaches and assistants
- Helping to organise workshops, sporting activities and gaming programmes
- Collecting and compiling information required for reports
- Assisting with sporting and gaming equipment administration
- Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Making sure indoor and outdoor sporting areas are ready for use
- Coordinating the storage and transportation of sporting equipment
- Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory records
- Monitoring the correct use of sporting and gaming equipment
- Assisting with logistics for sporting and gaming programmes
- Communicating with members of the public during sporting and gaming events
- Maintaining an inventory of sporting equipment
- Reporting damaged or faulty equipment
- Ensuring damaged equipment is repaired or restored where necessary
- Preparing monthly reports on equipment condition and related statistics
