  • Counting the cash float before the start of each shift.
  • Keeping the cash drawer secure at all times.
  • Handling client cash, credit payments and change accurately.
  • Completing cashing-up procedures during shift changes and at the end of the day.
  • Banking collected cash under the supervision of the cashier supervisor.
  • Following all front-office procedures and financial policies.
  • Providing basic advice to clients.
  • Directing clients to the correct service points.
  • Assisting with other front-office duties when requested by management.
  • Applying departmental policies, legislation and compliance requirements correctly.
  • Supporting effective risk management and compliance in the workplace.
  • Studying relevant Public Service and departmental policies to ensure proper implementation.
