Important Information for Applicants

• Prescribed Z83 Form: Failure to use the prescribed Z83 form will result in disqualification.
• Completing the Z83 Form: Follow the instructions carefully to ensure all sections of the Z83 form are completed accurately.
• Additional Documentation: Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of their Identity Document, qualifications, and driver’s license where necessary.

• Communication: Only short-listed candidates will be contacted. If you haven’t heard from us within 90 days of the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
• Appeals: Applicants have 90 days to request reasons from the Department for any administrative action which has adversely affected them.

• Performance Agreement: Successful candidates will be expected to sign a performance agreement within three months of assuming duty.

1. Animal Health Assistant

• Salary: R183,279 per annum (Level 04)
• Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification, valid driver’s license, knowledge of animal health procedures.
• Duties: Implement disease control measures, improve animal health, provide extension services on animal health.

2. Cleaner

• Location: Mopani District: Mopani North / Towoomba Research Centre
• Salary: R131,265 per annum (Level 02)
• Requirements: Grade 10 or equivalent qualification, knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
• Duties: Cleaning offices, corridors, equipment, and maintaining hygiene standards.

3. General Worker (Redline Gate/Guard/Fence Patroller)

• Location: Mopani District: Mopani North
• Salary: R131,265 per annum (Level 02)
• Requirements: Grade 8 / ABET level 2 or equivalent qualification, knowledge of security services.
• Duties: Perform routine manual farming activities, control movement of animals, conduct fence patrols.
