Job Purpose

As a Call Centre Administration Clerk in the Operations Support Alternative Distribution department, you will manage administrative tasks for external call centres, ensuring seamless communication, accurate policy updates, and exceptional client service in a fast-paced insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily administrative requests from external call centres, such as additions, increases, and reinstatements.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with call centres and clients.
  • Schedule and facilitate debit order deductions and changes.
  • Verify and ensure accuracy of changes and corrections across departments.
  • Provide voice recordings and feedback to the complaints department as needed.
  • Distribute monthly non-payment and provisional lapse data to call centres.
  • Supply quotations and client policy information upon request.
  • Resolve day-to-day issues with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Maintain records of voice interactions for new business and administrative changes via Secure FTP.
  • Compile reports on administrative requests, progress, and quality feedback.
  • Participate in collaboration meetings with call centres and report to management.
  • Assist with ad hoc duties related to lead generation for call centres.

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric certificate.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience (long-term insurance experience is an advantage).
  • Call centre background is a plus.
