Requirements

Minimum Grade 10 / Standard 8.
Previous experience or exposure to community dipping functions is an advantage.
Local candidates will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

Community Animal Health Workers will perform duties such as:

Counting and recording cattle for dipping activities.
Monitoring water levels in dipping tanks and mixing dipping solutions.
Supervising the dipping process and cleaning the dipping area post-use.
Performing minor repairs to dipping tanks.
Safeguarding dipping chemicals and materials.
Reporting any defects or issues to the Animal Health Technician.
Assisting with vaccinations, treatments, and restraining animals during procedures like castration and dehorning.
