Requirements
- Minimum Grade 10 / Standard 8.
- Previous experience or exposure to community dipping functions is an advantage.
- Local candidates will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities
Community Animal Health Workers will perform duties such as:
- Counting and recording cattle for dipping activities.
- Monitoring water levels in dipping tanks and mixing dipping solutions.
- Supervising the dipping process and cleaning the dipping area post-use.
- Performing minor repairs to dipping tanks.
- Safeguarding dipping chemicals and materials.
- Reporting any defects or issues to the Animal Health Technician.
- Assisting with vaccinations, treatments, and restraining animals during procedures like castration and dehorning.
