✅ Job Responsibilities

As a Shop Assistant Cashier , your role will be to create a positive shopping experience by assisting customers and handling point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently.

🔹 Point of Sale Operations – Scan items accurately and process payments quickly .
🔹 Cash Handling – Ensure safe cash transactions and manage change correctly.
🔹 Promotions & ClubCard – Inform customers about deals and encourage them to sign up for Clicks ClubCard to save more.
🔹 Customer Service – Be friendly and professional while assisting customers.
🔹 Merchandising – Keep shelves neat, organized, and well-stocked .
🔹 Housekeeping – Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
🔹 Product Knowledge – Stay updated on products, promotions, and events to provide the best customer advice.

🎯What You Need to Apply

📚 Education:

✔️ Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
✔️ Desirable: 50% in Maths & English at Grade 12 level

🔥 Skills & Competencies:

✔️ Basic maths skills (for cash handling)
✔️ Strong customer service focus
✔️ Good communication skills
✔️ Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
✔️ Basic computer skills (Point of Sale system)
✔️ Problem-solving & organizational skills

🛍 Experience:

✔️ Retail or FMCG store experience (preferred, but not required)
