📢 What Does a Merchandiser Do?

As a Merchandiser , your main job is to make sure the store looks great, shelves are full, and products are easy to find . You’ll be responsible for setting up displays, making sure prices are correct, and keeping track of stock. If you love organizing, working in a team, and being creative with store layouts, this could be a great fit for you!

🔹 Main Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and stock shelves to make products easy to find
  • Keep track of inventory and report low stock levels
  • Set up promotional displays for special sales or seasonal events
  • Make sure all products are priced correctly and labeled
  • Remove expired or damaged products from shelves
  • Help customers find products and answer their questions
  • Work closely with store managers and other team members

You may be required to travel between multiple store locations , so flexibility is important.

📝 What You Need to Apply:

To qualify for this job, you must meet the following minimum requirements:


✅ Matric certificate (National Senior Certificate)
✅ Basic English communication skills
✅ Must live within 15km of the job location
✅ Clear criminal record
✅ Own a smartphone with at least 10GB storage

🔹 Preferred (But Not Required):

  • Previous experience in merchandising, sales, or customer service
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work with different teams
  • South African candidates preferred
