Role Overview

The Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Learnership equips learners with hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy earthmoving machinery, such as Cat® excavators and bulldozers. Based in Isando and Rustenburg, participants will work under experienced technicians, completing theoretical and practical training to earn a recognized qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete theoretical studies, practical training, and skills assessments to meet programme standards.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair earthmoving equipment, conducting basic diagnostics on heavy machinery.
  • Document experience via logbooks, skills records, and training reports for accurate progress tracking.
