Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate
- A relevant post-matric qualification (advantageous)
- No prior experience required
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and related applications)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and conflict management skills
Key Responsibilities
As an Administration Clerk (Assets), your duties will include:
- Barcoding and recording newly acquired assets
- Capturing and updating asset information accurately
- Monitoring and controlling asset movements within the college
- Preparing monthly asset reports and updating inventory lists
- Conducting annual physical asset verification
- Reporting stolen, obsolete, redundant, or damaged assets
- Coordinating repairs of broken equipment
- Maintaining clean and organised storerooms
- Assisting with the disposal of redundant assets
This role supports effective asset control, compliance, and inventory management within the institution.
