Position Purpose
The African Global Skills Academy Learnership Programme 2025 offers unemployed South African youth (18–27) in the Western Cape the opportunity to gain accredited qualifications in Food and Beverage Services Level 4, Fast Food Services Level 3, Accommodation Services Level 2, or Business Administration Level 2. With a R3,000/month stipend, participants will develop practical skills and work experience across various Western Cape locations.
Available Learnership Programmes
- Food and Beverage Services Level 4 (CATHSSETA): Training in restaurant and bar service.
- Fast Food Services Level 3 (CATHSSETA): Skills for fast-paced food service environments.
- Accommodation Services Level 2 (CATHSSETA): Expertise in housekeeping and guest services.
- Business Administration Level 2 (Services SETA): Foundations in office administration and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend all scheduled training sessions and programme activities.
- Complete practical and theoretical assessments to achieve SETA qualifications.
- Participate in workplace-based learning with industry partners.
- Apply learned skills in real-world hospitality or administration settings.
- Maintain accurate records of training progress and attendance.

- South African citizen, aged 18–27.
- Unemployed at the time of application.
- Reside in the Western Cape (e.g., Plumstead, Stellenbosch, Athlone).
- Grade 11 school report or Matric certificate.
- Valid South African ID.
- Clear criminal record, verified via background checks.
