- Assist the MMU Controller in conducting regular inspections of fixed plants and MMUs according to SABS and World Class standards to detect non-conformances, implement preventative actions, and drive continuous improvement
- Support blasting-related activities such as measuring holes, stemming or closing charged holes, guarding, and site cleaning
- Maintain proper housekeeping at the site
- Ensure the wash bay and truck park remain clean and orderly
- Keep trucks clean at all times
- Load and unload products into and from trucks
- Assist in carrying out charging duties on the bench
- Support the closing or stemming of charged holes
- Load and unload packaged explosives and related accessories
- Follow all legal requirements while working at the depot
- Ensure MMUs are consistently maintained to World Class cleanliness standards
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently when required
