About the Role:
Forvis Mazars is offering a learnership opportunity in their Global Infrastructure Finance (GIF) division. Based in Johannesburg, this role provides hands-on experience in financial modelling, model assurance, and client interaction within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct model assurance and auditing using the FAST financial modelling standard in MS Excel.
- Review project-related documents, including credit agreements and tax reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes for model auditing procedures.
- Engage with clients such as financiers, investors, developers, and government agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong academic background in accounting and/or finance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a critical and questioning attitude.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
