Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Public Employment Services at the Makhado Labour Centre.
Duties include:
- Registering work seekers on the Employment Services of South Africa system, commonly known as ESSA
- Registering work and learning opportunities on ESSA
- Referring work seekers for employment counselling services
- Providing administrative support during the placement of work seekers into employment and learning opportunities
- Performing general administrative duties
- Participating in advocacy sessions when required
The position therefore plays an important role in helping job seekers access employment and skills development opportunities through the Department of Employment and Labour.
