Minimum Requirements

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment within the relevant healthcare facility.
Main responsibilities include:
- Performing general cleaning duties.
- Cleaning and maintaining cleaning equipment.
- Dusting furniture and other surfaces.
- Sweeping, polishing, scrubbing and mopping floors and passages.
- Emptying dustbins.
- Sorting soiled linen according to the correct cleaning procedures.
- Using cleaning chemicals and cleaning stock correctly and efficiently.
- Maintaining acceptable hygiene standards throughout the facility.
- Ensuring that the working environment remains safe and clean.
- Handling and caring for cleaning equipment.
- Assisting with the offloading and unpacking of stock.
- Performing relief duties when required.
