Tiger Brands is seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Worker to join its operations team in Isando. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment and are physically fit to perform manual labour duties.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting production operations by handling materials, stacking finished products, maintaining cleanliness, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring all food safety and workplace safety standards are followed. This position requires reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing physical labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving loads of up to 25 kg.
- Stacking and palletising finished products correctly.
- Inspecting materials and finished products for defects.
- Completing quality control documentation when required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Following all workplace safety procedures and protocols.
- Wearing and adhering to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Identifying, reporting, and assisting in resolving workplace safety hazards.
- Following all food safety policies and quality standards.
- Supporting production and warehouse operations as required.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate/Matric).
- Be medically and physically fit.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg).
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
