The successful candidate will form part of the manufacturing team and will report directly to the Manufacturing Co-ordinator, supporting daily packing operations and ensuring compliance with company quality, safety, and operational standards.

You will be required to perform the duties below:

• Inspect the printer to ensure it is operating correctly and ready for production
• Verify that all packed products are presented neatly and meet the required quality standards
• Examine pallets before use to confirm they are clean, stable, and suitable for loading
• Check and record the weight of bags accurately in accordance with manual recording procedures
• Confirm that the correct product barcode is applied to every packaged item
• Ensure all barcoded products are securely and neatly wrapped before dispatch
• Stack pallets evenly and securely to maintain a straight, stable, and organized appearance
• Verify the integrity of wrapped products to ensure they are properly sealed and free from damage.

General Responsibilities as Packer 

• Pack products accurately and efficiently in accordance with company quality and production standards.
• Inspect products for defects or damage before packing to ensure only quality items are dispatched.
• Label and package products correctly to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Operate packing equipment and tools safely while following established operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area at all times.
• Follow all health, safety, food safety, and company policies during daily operations.
• Monitor product quality throughout the packing process and report any defects or irregularities to the supervisor.
• Assist with loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products as required.
• Meet daily packing targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
• Record production and packing information accurately when required.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth production and packing operations.
• Handle products carefully to minimize waste, damage, and product loss.
