Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification. No previous work experience is required, making this a good opportunity for candidates who want to enter the public health sector.
Candidates should be able to read and write and must have good communication skills. The Department is looking for someone who is self-driven, motivated and able to work well with others.
Skills and Knowledge Needed

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting store and warehouse operations at Jubilee District Hospital.
Key duties include:
- Distributing newly acquired stock and equipment to wards and hospital sections
- Issuing stock to end users
- Packing shelves in the relevant warehouse
- Ensuring received stock is packed correctly and rotated properly
- Safeguarding inventory items
- Keeping the store neat, clean and compliant with OHS regulations
- Updating bin cards immediately
- Applying the FIFO method when handling stock
- Assisting with inventory stock-taking
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders within the institution
