At Curro, we care. We are looking for a highly skilled Bursar to support the financial and administrative operations of Curro Foreshore High School. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who is passionate about education and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As a Bursar, you will be responsible for ensuring sound financial and administrative management, including:
- Financial administration and reporting
- Accounting and cash flow management
- Debtors’ and contract financial management
- Payroll and general administrative oversight
- Supporting the school’s operational and educational objectives
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the minimum criteria below:
- A B Degree or equivalent (3 years) – preferably with a major in Accounting
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience, including:
- Experience in a financial role or as a bursar
- Accounting, cash flow, and debtors’ management
- Contract management (financial aspects)
- Payroll and administrative management
- Excellent computer literacy
- Strong planning, organisational, and administrative skills
- Clear criminal record
- Personal commitment to education and alignment with Curro’s values and ethos
