About the Floor Assistant Role
The Floor Assistant at NTK Retail will help ensure that the depot floor runs smoothly every day. This includes assisting customers, moving and packing stock, keeping products properly displayed, and maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
This role is suitable for a hardworking and dependable person who is physically fit, enjoys practical work, and can communicate well with customers and team members.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Previous experience in a depot or retail environment will be an advantage
- Physically fit and able to perform manual duties
- Willing to work overtime and weekends when required
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Assist customers with loading goods and providing product information
- Receive, move, pack, and arrange stock safely and accurately
- Ensure that stock is displayed correctly and replenished when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and order on the depot floor
- Support general operational, housekeeping, and store duties
- Work with colleagues to ensure smooth daily store operations
