Ensure loaves are packed 10 per crate or if premium, eight per crate on the conveyor.
Check the quality of bread continuously and check for any damaged loaves to be removed.
Ensure all loaves have dates and that the bread looks appealing inside the package.
Visually inspects product for quality and quantity.
Report all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager in a timely manner.
Understand and comply with all safety procedures that apply to daily operations.
Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety policy and procedures.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
Ensure security of company assets.
Qualifications
Matric is essential.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Good interpersonal ability.
Highly responsible and reliable.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Strong work ethic.
Previous experience in a bakery production or related role preferred.
