Purpose of Job
Correct and safe loading, securing and offloading of Refurbishment and non-refurbishment materials at Warehouses and TEM workshop, Business Units and Suppliers (when required).
Ensuring that the vehicle used for delivery are in a safe and roadworthy condition and at all times complying too all traffic rules and regulations.
Taking care, custody and control of; vehicle, all assets and all relevant materials being transported.
Key Accountabilities
Accurate loading and offloading of required materials at the Warehouse, TEM workshop and SO sites with the demand
Adhere to designated routes and timeous delivery
Making use of Gate pass and relevant documentation to ensure confirmation of deliveries/collections.
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly vehicle inspections, adhere to legislation and to traffic regulations
Ensuring good general housekeeping practices (cleaning vehicles and distribution areas)
Conduct and/or undergo; on the job training, SAP transactional training
Ensure on time delivery and knowledgeable and effective use of applicable routes/off-loading Points
Adherence to Plant Safety Requirements in terms of Permit Management and Compliance
Adhere to log book and key control requirements at all times
Formal Education
Grade 12 or N3 with English
