Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate, Grade 12, or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in data capturing
  • Good telephone etiquette
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Accuracy when performing duties
  • Good analytical and numerical skills

A diploma or additional relevant qualification will be an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The appointed Data Capturer will support the Clinical Department’s Health Information Systems by ensuring accurate and timely data management.

Duties include:

  • Capturing data in real time
  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Performing general office administration duties
  • Conducting data reconciliation
  • Analysing data and identifying data gaps
  • Capturing information on DHIS, SAP-HIS and Tier.net systems

This role requires someone who can work accurately, manage information responsibly, and support efficient healthcare reporting at the hospital.
