The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification recognised by SAQA
- No previous work experience is required
- A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy, especially MS Word and MS Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Planning and organisational skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good time management and punctuality
- Professional telephone etiquette
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a pre-entry practical exercise as part of the assessment process. This will help determine suitability for the post based on the technical and general requirements of the position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective administrative and asset control support to the Court.
Duties include:
- Render efficient and effective support services to the Court
- Maintain a complete, reliable, and accurate asset register for departmental assets
- Conduct physical verification of assets to confirm their existence
- Ensure the asset register is complete and updated
- Identify and report stolen or lost assets
- Report unserviceable, redundant, damaged, underperforming, and obsolete assets
- Monitor leased assets register
- Track expiring contracts related to leased assets
- Support proper asset management and compliance within the Court environment
