What You Will Be Doing
As a General Cleaner, your main responsibility is to keep the workplace clean and safe. You will follow daily cleaning routines and make sure all areas are properly maintained.
Cleaning Duties
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean windows, counters, and light fixtures
- Dust furniture and surfaces
- Sanitize high-touch areas like door handles and switches
Restroom Cleaning
- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and restrooms
- Refill soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
- Make sure restrooms stay fresh and hygienic
Waste Management
- Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly
- Manage recycling where needed
Kitchen and Pantry Cleaning
- Clean kitchen surfaces and appliances
- Wash dishes and keep the area neat
- Clean cupboards and storage areas
Stock and Supplies
- Monitor cleaning supplies
- Refill items like soap and paper towels
- Report shortages to management
Safety and Reporting
- Follow health and safety rules
- Use cleaning chemicals properly
- Report any damages or hazards immediately
Requirements You Must Meet
