The EPWP General Worker role is labour-intensive and involves supporting parks maintenance operations. Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Load and off-load materials, tools, and equipment
- Place traffic warning signs near municipal roads when required
- Clean work areas using manual labour tools
- Operate garden tools (manual and electrical)
- Perform grass cutting and brush cutting
- Tend to flower beds
- Sweep and rake designated areas
- Follow all lawful instructions from supervisors
- Perform ad hoc duties as required by management
