Key Performance Areas
In this role, you will:
- Clean dialysis machines before each session, ensuring compliance with NRC standards.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly generator inspections, log technical issues, and refuel as required.
- Follow financial policies, particularly regarding stock and waste management.
- Provide meals to patients according to dietary requirements and NRC procedures.
- Maintain infection control and health & safety standards.
- Assist in creating a safe dialysis environment by testing alarms before each session.
- Uphold NRC’s values and “Caring the NRC Way” approach.
- Stay updated on healthcare functions and commit to continuous learning.
Requirements & Experience
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with good numeracy and literacy.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role (experience in renal care is advantageous).
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a changing environment.
- Energetic, well-organised, and a strong team player.
- Commitment to ethical behaviour, high-quality work, and patient care.
