Faircape Health Carer
Faircape Health, part of the Faircape Group, owns and manages six luxury lifestyle villages, each equipped with state-of-the-art healthcare centres. We are currently recruiting experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Carers to join our teams at Tokai Estate and Cle Du Cap in the Southern Suburbs. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering quality care in frail care, dementia care, palliative care, sub-acute rehabilitation, and respite care.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including hygiene care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and assist with walks, meals, and activities.
- Feed residents when required and chart activities on the Healthware electronic system.
- Report promptly on any changes in a resident’s condition.
- Adhere to infection control, health, and safety protocols.
- Perform camera watch duty during night shifts to monitor resident safety.
Education and Qualifications
- Recognised Carer training from a reputable organisation (advantageous).
- SETA accreditation will be an added advantage.
Experience and Knowledge
- Proven experience as a Carer or in a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of caring principles for the aged: dementia, palliative, and rehabilitative care.
Skills and Attributes

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours & Salary
- 16.25 shifts per month (day or night shift options).
- Day Shift: 07h00 – 19h00
- Night Shift: 19h00 – 07h00 (includes night shift allowance).
- Competitive basic salary, plus pay for Sundays, public holidays, quarterly bonuses, and additional shifts.
