With American Swiss, you’ll spend 12 months learning how retail works—from customer service to stock handling—while being part of a supportive team in a professional environment.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this opportunity, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Be aged between 18 and 28 years old.
- Have Matric (preferable) or Grade 10 as the minimum education level.
- Be available to work a full-time 12-month fixed-term contract.
- Not have been permanently employed with a single employer for more than 1 year.
- Not be studying full-time during the programme period (April 2025 – March 2026).
- Not have participated in or been registered on the YES programme before.
- Be responsible for your own accommodation and transport if needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
During your time with American Swiss, you will:
- Assist customers in finding the perfect piece of jewellery.
- Learn how to maintain high standards of store presentation.
- Gain skills in handling transactions and using point-of-sale systems.
- Work with a team to meet store targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Learn the basics of stock management and merchandising.
