Job Description

Position Purpose

• Offer practical workplace experience to Non-Technical trainees to support their future employability.
• This is an 18-month opportunity aimed at TVET College students.

Position Outputs

The Work Integrated No Technical Learner will be responsible for performing the following duties:

• Carry out specific tasks within a designated work-stream or department.
• As a Work Integrated Training participant, responsibilities include observing staff, engaging in learning activities, attending meetings and workshops, and gaining practical exposure to various procurement functions. Key tasks include:
• Communicating with customers to understand their needs and urgency, providing regular updates on the status of their requirements.
• Serving as a primary contact for both supplier and end-user inquiries, ensuring timely and satisfactory responses.
• Assisting with general administrative tasks, research, and support.
• Receiving and structuring work instructions from a mentor or specialist to achieve specific project goals.
• Creating clear and logically organized reports in MS Word or PowerPoint.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Completed all N6 theoretical subjects in Financial Management, Business/Office Management, Human Resources, Marketing Management, or Logistics.
• South African citizenship.
• No bursary obligations.
• Proof of institutional letter and qualification.
