LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME — 2025/26

In line with the new skills development legislation, Umfolozi Sugar MA (Pty) Ltd, located 30 km from St Lucia and 48 km from Richards Bay, is offering a 12-month fixed-term contract learnership programme.

This opportunity is for learners who require in-service training to complete their P1 & P2, as well as for graduates seeking experiential training.

This fixed-term position is ideal for dynamic, intelligent, self-motivated, and ambitious individuals who are eager to proactively learn and advance their careers and skills in the following fields:

LEARNERS REQUIRED

1. Chemical Intern
   • Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering
2. Electrical Intern
   • Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
3. Analytical Chemistry Intern
   • Qualification: Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
4. Finance Intern
   • Qualification: N6 or equivalent in Financial/Account Management
5. Chemical Graduate
   • Qualification: B-Tech/BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering
6. Mechanical Graduate
   • Qualification: B-Tech/BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering
7. HR Graduate
   • Qualification: B-Tech/Degree in Human Resources
8. Electrical Graduate
   • Qualification: B-Tech/BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
9. Agriculture Graduate
   • Qualification: B-Tech/BSc Degree in Agriculture
10. Control & Instrumentation Graduate

• Qualification: B-Tech in Control & Instrumentation/BSc

11. IT Graduate

• Qualification: B-Tech in Computer Science/BSc Information Technology
