HOUSEHOLD AID (POST NATAL & GYNAECOLOGY AND B4 OBSTETRICS 8) (X2 POSTS)
(Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services)
SALARY: R131 265 per annum
CENTRE: New Somerset Hospital

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum educational qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy.

Experience: Appropriate experience in a hospital environment.

Inherent requirements of the job: Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays and to rotate in different departments according to operational needs and requirements. Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and supplies.

Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to adhere to safety and hygienic standards. Knowledge of infection control. Ability to operate machinery and equipment.

DUTIES:

Render an effective, efficient and safe hygiene and domestic service within the institution. Render support services to the Household Supervisor. Contribute to the effective utilization and functioning of apparatus and equipment. Contribute to the effective management of domestic responsibilities. Adhere to loyal service ethics.
