
Clicks Group invites enthusiastic candidates to apply for their Trainee Store Manager Programme. There are openings available to join their team, with applications closing on November 6, 2025. Clicks Group is a company that focuses on helping trainees grow into confident managers who understand every department in the store. The goal is to complete the Trainee Manager programme within 12 months so you can take on management duties, supporting the store manager or stepping in when needed. This programme combines hands-on experience with classroom learning to build your skills.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will work closely with the store manager while learning all store departments, such as sales, stock control, and customer service. You will attend training sessions where you will gain knowledge and skills needed to lead effectively. Applying what you learn directly on the job under the manager’s supervision is a key part of the programme.
You are expected to be a great example for other staff, showing professionalism and values that represent the company well. A strong focus on excellent customer care is crucial—you will be visible in the store and actively help customers with care and attention at all times.
What You Need to Apply
- A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification such as a Bachelor of Commerce, Business Management, Retail Management, or Business Science is essential.
 - You must have a matric certificate (Grade 12) with at least 50% in pure Maths and 50% in English.
 - Experience in retail or management roles is a plus but not mandatory.
 - You should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Being computer literate and able to analyze information is important.
 - Strong planning, organizing, and conflict management skills will help you succeed.
 - You should be ready to lead, support, and interact effectively with different people.
 - Adapting to new challenges and working well under pressure is part of the job.
