Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence.
- Be younger than 35 years at the time of application.
- Have no criminal record or pending cases.
- Be physically fit and willing to undergo rigorous training.
- Be a South African citizen and a permanent resident of the City of Mbombela.
- Provide proof of residence with a ward number clearly indicated on the application form.
Only applicants who meet all the above requirements will be considered for shortlisting.
Key Responsibilities During Training
Successful candidates will participate in a combination of classroom-based instruction and hands-on field experience. During the 12-month programme, learners will:

Stipend and Benefits

Duration of the Programme
The learnership runs for 12 months, combining both theoretical instruction and practical exposure. Upon successful completion, participants will hold the necessary qualifications and experience to pursue employment as traffic officers or related public-safety roles.
