💼 About the Programme
The City of Mbombela, based in the Mpumalanga Province, is opening 25 learner traffic officer positions for unemployed youth. This 12-month learnership will train you according to the National Road Traffic Act (Act 93 of 1996) — giving you all the skills you need to start a career as a qualified traffic officer.
You’ll get both classroom and field training, learning everything about road safety, law enforcement, and how to keep the streets safe for everyone.
🧾 What You’ll Get
- Duration: 12 months (1 year)
- Monthly stipend: R6,500 during training (no extra benefits)
- Location: City of Mbombela, Mpumalanga
🎓 Minimum Requirements
To apply, make sure you meet these conditions:
- You must have Matric (Grade 12)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be under 35 years old
- Be physically fit and willing to do physical training
- Must have no criminal record or pending cases
- Be a South African citizen and permanent resident of Mbombela
- Must provide Proof of Residence with Ward Number
