Toys R Us and Babies R Us South Africa is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join their Cavendish store. The purpose of this role is to maximize sales by delivering excellent customer service, ensuring a WOW shopping experience, and contributing to outstanding store performance. As part of one of the world’s most iconic toy and baby brands, you’ll play a key role in helping customers find the right products, providing friendly and knowledgeable service, and maintaining high merchandising and housekeeping standards.

Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Minimum of 6 months retail experience
- Own or reliable transport to work shifts
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide AWESOME customer service and ensure every customer has a WOW experience
- Attend to individual shopping needs and put the customer first
- Assist customers on the sales floor and by telephone
- Demonstrate, explain, and advise on products
- Drive sales and actively promote add-on sales and services
- Ensure goods are correctly priced, displayed, and promoted on time
- Adhere to merchandising layouts, housekeeping standards, and promotional schedules
- Participate in stock takes, counts, and loss prevention
- Report on fast and slow sellers to the Store Manager
- Protect company assets and minimize expenses in your area of responsibility
