Telecom Operator Positions
Salary: R193 359 – R227 766 per annum
Contract Requirement: Successful candidates will be required to sign a performance agreement.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Basic numerical skills
- Ability to operate switchboard and related technical equipment
- High levels of integrity and loyalty
- Ability to work under pressure
- Conflict management skills
This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, calm under pressure, and capable of managing high call volumes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
As a Telecom Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls
- Transferring calls to relevant officials
- Taking and delivering accurate messages
- Ensuring the switchboard is operational and manned at all times
- Performing any additional administrative or support duties as required
You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication within the department and with members of the public.
