Technical Assistant Post Open At the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Relevant Technical/Architectural Diploma.
• One to two years’ experience.

Key Attributes and Competencies:

• Monitoring and compliance to regulations and functions in the Section.
• General administrative duties.

Job Purpose:

• Coordinating and performing tasks/activities associated with the provision of a technical support service to the Water Distribution Section.
• This is through verification of installations and connections reflected on building plans, identifying deviations of legislation and performing administration functions (maintaining accurate master plans) for the Section in accordance to Departmental instructions and requirements.

As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency. This will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
