The Cleaner will be responsible for keeping the retail facility and related areas clean, safe, and organised in line with Sunbet’s hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of all areas and ensure equipment is in working order
Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and shampoo carpets as needed
Clean desks, chairs, windows, and walls, ensuring smears and dirt are removed
Empty bins, ashtrays, and dispose of trash properly
Clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure sanitation standards are met
Maintain cleanliness in the office kitchen and ensure equipment is functional
Monitor and manage cleaning chemicals and supplies
Set up tea stations and handle crockery responsibly
Identify and report maintenance issues
Handle soiled equipment and record breakages
Adhere to health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations
Interact with clients warmly and professionally, addressing concerns and escalating if required
Complete end-of-day dishwasher and cleaning tasks

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (preferred) OR Grade 10 with at least 2 years of cleaning experience
Prior cleaning experience in an office, retail, or facilities environment is advantageous

Skills & Competencies

Strong organising and coordination skills
Ability to follow procedures and assure quality
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe chemical use
Good verbal communication skills
Basic computer literacy
Professional, client-focused attitude
