
The SPAR Admin Controller role is available with application closing on 12 November 2025. This position involves managing the full accounting functions of corporate stores, preparing and monitoring budgets for sales, expenses, and margins, as well as overseeing audits on store processes and procedures.
You will also conduct stock takes, ensure compliance with legislation and SPAR standards, manage HR functions for corporate stores, facilitate communication between Retail and Distribution Centre (DC), and provide support to the Admin team and Store managers.
Key Requirements:
- A Grade 12 senior certificate plus a Diploma or Degree is required.
- At least 5 years of retail experience, including 2 years in administrative or finance roles.
- Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
- Knowledge of Easy Accounts and Sigma accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and clerical skills.
- Competent computer skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and maintain high attention to detail.
- Must be able to work systematically and in an organized manner.
- Availability to work weekends and Public Holidays.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
