- Maintain excellent housekeeping practices while strictly applying food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
- Plan, prepare, and execute daily production activities according to efficient and well-structured schedules
- Concentrate on increasing sales performance while minimizing waste and controlling production losses
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering fresh, appealing, and reliable bakery products
- Coach, guide, and support bakery assistants and newly appointed bakers to improve overall production quality, efficiency, and team capability

General Responsibilities as Baker
- Prepare, mix, and bake a variety of baked goods such as bread, rolls, pastries, cakes, and confectionery items according to recipes and production schedules
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to ensure consistency, quality, and cost control
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, safely and efficiently
- Ensure all baked products meet quality, taste, and presentation standards before display or sale
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results and minimize waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery, including work surfaces, tools, and storage areas
- Assist with stock control by monitoring ingredient levels and reporting shortages or spoilage
- Label, store, and rotate ingredients and finished products according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and customer demand
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information when required
- Adhere to occupational health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
