About the Role
As a Customer Service Agent at Shoprite, you will be at the heart of the company’s commitment to delivering top-quality service. You will be responsible for handling customer queries, resolving issues, and ensuring that every customer has a positive experience when interacting with Shoprite.
This is a full-time permanent position with 45 working hours per week, scheduled across five days, Monday to Sunday, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Agent, your main duties will include:

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Education:
- Essential: Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Beneficial: Diploma, degree, or short courses in Communications or a related field.
Experience:
- Essential: At least 5 years of experience in a customer service role or similar environment.
- Advantageous: Previous experience in a retail or contact centre setting.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Online.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
